Remote salary adjustment

Employers often apply location or remote-work bands on top of a hub salary. Our static multipliers translate modeled mid-level gross pay into planning ranges—they are not verified employer policies, payroll quotes, or legal advice. Compare hub on-site pay to hybrid and remote bands before you negotiate location flexibility.

Policy bands (static multipliers)

  • Hub / on-site ×1.00

Baseline modeled gross when the role is tied to a high-cost hub market.

  • Hybrid (local) ×0.97

Mostly local office with limited remote days—small discount vs full hub on-site in our model.

  • Remote (same country) ×0.92

Fully remote but employer still hires in the same country—common band for US/EU domestic remote.

  • Remote (nearshore / lower CoL) ×0.82

Remote hire in a lower cost region while reporting to a hub-country team—illustrative planning band.

  • Remote (global / location-agnostic) ×0.72

Broad global remote band—often the lowest cash anchor in public band tables; verify with your employer.
